It is vital that managers understand their role within an organisation; they are required to motivate staff, keep order and set standards. They co-ordinate people, money, projects, and are often the conduit between workers and senior management.
This module has been developed to provide learners with an increased understanding of the key competencies required for the role of a manager. On completion, learners will appreciate the differences between management and leadership and recognise the different stages of team development.
